Apple reveals its first smart Vision Pro glasses with imaginary capabilities

2 Mins read

It was announced during the WWDC 2023 Conference that a new Apple Smart Glasses named Vision Pro. combine digital content with the real world seamlessly, allowing users to stay connected and interact with others.

Vision Pro glasses also provide the user with control of his level of immersion in the virtual world, using natural and intuitive interfaces such as eyes, hands, and sound, without the need for an external controller.

Vision Pro glasses allow users to interact with digital content in a realistic way that actually resembles being in their surroundings, thanks to VisionOS, the world’s first spatial operating system.

Apple’s new glasses come in an elegant ski goggles-like design, where it has a transparent interface made up of a full glass layer. The user can clearly see the real world through this interface while wearing it, and this allows cameras and sensors to capture an accurate picture of the surrounding environment. These glasses enable them to integrate digital elements naturally and effectively, turning them into part of the real world.

The glass facade is also in a powerful aluminum frame, featuring five sensors, a display screen, and 12 cameras. These cameras capture millions of pixels per second of the real world in front of the user, giving him a clear view when wearing glasses.

The glasses also feature two main processors: the MAC M2 processor, which processes graphics and data, and the brand-new R1 processor, whose function is to process data collected from inputs in the glasses. These inputs include 12 cameras, 5 sensors, and 6 microphones, the aim of which is to provide a realistic experience where the content appears directly in front of the user as if it is displayed in real-time.

In addition, they broadcast new images by processor (R1) to screens at 12 miles per second, meaning they are eight times faster than an eye blink. Vision Pro glasses are designed for all-day use when connected to electricity, and can work up to two hours with their high-performance external battery.

Users will also have the opportunity to increase their productivity by using Vision Pro glasses, featuring an infinite display that allows them to access their favorite apps and offer brand-new ways to perform multiple tasks. Users can now use Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad to set up the perfect workspace or connect their MACs to Vision Pro glasses in a wireless manner, allowing them to leverage the power of those devices and create an enormous and portable 4K screen that displays spectacularly clear texts.
